The Diploma in Kinesio Taping (D.K.T.) is a specialized professional course designed to provide practical knowledge of kinesiology taping techniques used in pain management, injury rehabilitation, and sports therapy. This program focuses on understanding muscle function, joint movement, and body mechanics, helping learners support natural healing without restricting movement.
Through the D.K.T. course, students learn how kinesio tape works by gently lifting the skin to improve blood circulation, lymphatic drainage, and muscle activation. The training covers taping methods for muscle pain, joint instability, posture correction, swelling, and sports injuries, making it highly useful for physiotherapists, sports therapists, fitness trainers, and rehabilitation professionals.
This diploma emphasizes safe, non-invasive, and drug-free therapy, enabling learners to apply kinesio taping as part of a complete treatment plan. After completing the course, students gain confidence to use kinesiology taping for injury prevention, faster recovery, and functional movement support in clinics, sports centers, fitness studios, and wellness practices.
- Correspondence / Distance Learning: You receive a study kit (books, charts, notes, instruments) via postal mail or online.
- Online Mode: Lessons are conducted via software/Zoom with digital materials and remote support.
- Workshop / Centre / Sunday Sessions: Live in-person sessions or online weekend sessions are offered for hands-on practice.
After completing the full Diploma in Dry Needling (D.Dr.N.) syllabus, students must appear for a structured evaluation to assess their professional knowledge of dry needling techniques, trigger point therapy, myofascial pain management, muscle anatomy, neuromuscular assessment, safety protocols, and clinical application of dry needling.
Exam Format: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions)
Passing Criteria: Minimum 40% or C Grade
Students who successfully pass the examination are awarded the Diploma Certificate in Dry Needling (D.Dr.N.), certifying their competence in trigger point dry needling, myofascial release techniques, pain relief protocols, muscle dysfunction management, and safe needle handling practices.
This evaluation ensures learners are professionally prepared to apply dry needling therapy in physiotherapy clinics, pain management centers, sports injury clinics, rehabilitation centers, chiropractic clinics, and wellness centers, or to work as Dry Needling Therapists, Pain Management Practitioners, Sports Rehabilitation Specialists, using safe, effective, and evidence-based dry needling solutions.
Students who successfully complete the Diploma in Dry Needling (D.Dr.N.) may opt for a professional clinical internship at recognized physiotherapy clinics, pain management centers, sports injury clinics, rehabilitation centers, chiropractic clinics, and wellness centers.
This internship includes:
- Advanced practical training in dry needling techniques, trigger point therapy, and myofascial pain release
