How to Use KSTAR Vastra Dhoti 5mtr:
- Sit in a comfortable position – either Utkatasana (squatting) or a simple cross-legged sitting posture (Sukasana) with a straight spine.
- Take one end of the dhoti and moisten it with water. Insert the moistened end gently into the mouth, letting the other end rest in a bowl.
- Hold the cloth near the mouth and slowly start swallowing the dhoti. Beginners may start with 1–2 feet of cloth on the first day, gradually increasing the length over subsequent days.
- Sip water occasionally to help with swallowing and ease the process.
- Once the full length is inside, gently churn or rotate the stomach side to side. Practitioners familiar with Nauli may perform gentle Nauli movements for enhanced abdominal exercise.
- Keep the dhoti inside for a few minutes, up to 20 minutes maximum. Do not exceed this time to avoid discomfort.
- Slowly pull out the dhoti from the mouth. It will contain mucus and other residues from the digestive tract.
- Wash and sterilize the dhoti thoroughly after use before storing it for the next session.
Precautions:
- Ensure at least half a foot of the dhoti remains outside while performing the practice.
- Use only clean water and a hygienic dhoti.
- Consult a yoga or Ayurvedic practitioner before starting, especially for beginners or individuals with digestive or throat issues.
